Etheridge's Pair Holds

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Brian Etheridge opened to 800 in the cutoff and was facing a three-bet of 3,000 from Evgeniy Tsyrenov in the small blind.

Etheridge called and saw the 789 flop, where both players checked. The dealer flipped over the 4 turn, with another round of checks leading to the 3 river.

Tsyrenov tapped the table one last time before Etheridge announced a check and revealed 66 for a pair of sixes. Tsyrenov could only show AK for ace-high as Etheridge raked in the pot.
