Marc Fourie raised to 55,000 and Muaaz Gani called. Abraham Van Huyssteen then jammed for 165,000 in the small blind to receive two calls. The two active players checked down the 743910 board.

Fourie showed KQ, Gani had the AJ but Van Huyssteen tripled with JJ.

Shortly after, Gani raised from under the gun and called the shove by Jedd Kossew in the cutoff for 220,000.

With all hearts on the 865 flop, Gani looked away and didn't want to see the sweaty outcome. Nothing changed on the 3 turn and 9 river, sending Kossew to the rail in 18th place.

Clive Kikia raised to 65,000 from the small blind and Florian Bock three-bet jammed from the big blind with the covering stack. Kikia needed some time to call it off for 445,000 but did so.

Van Huyssteen Jams Up His Stack

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Didier Mery had lost a portion of his stack and then took on Abraham Van Huyssteen in a three-bet pot to the 1062 flop. Van Huyssteen jammed all-in from the small blind and Mery used almost the entire short clock before tapping the table and folding.

Van Huyssteen nodded and flashed his KK, Marko Nortje patted himself on the shoulder when he returned to his seat.

Maureen Bloechlinger: QJ
