Weis Leaves Shumard in Shambles, Al-Saden Finishes Him Off

Level 1 : 100/200, 0 ante

James Galloway opened to 600 from the hijack and Felix Weis three-bet to 1,600 on the button. Caleb Shumard looked down at his cards in the big blind and then elected to four-bet, making it 4,500 to go.

Galloway folded to Weis who called and the dealer spread out a queen-high flop. Shumard and Weis each put in 3,000 on the flop with Shumard tapping to Weis on the turn.

Weis bet 7,500 and Shumard called to see the board pair on the river. Shumard jammed and Weis snapped it off. Shumard tabled an overpair of kings but they were not enough when Weis turned over his pocket queens for a boat to scoop the pot, leaving Shumard with just 1,110.

Shumard shoved the next hand with a pair of nickels, Iman Al-Saden raised and the rest of the table respectively declined.

Caleb Shumard: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Iman Al-Saden: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The board rolled out {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and Shumard hit the rail early, sending the rest of his chips to Al-Saden.
