Kornuth Rides Rockets

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Action was on the flop which read {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}. Jeremy Harvey check-called from early position a bet of 3,000 from Chance Kornuth who was on the button.

The turn was the {6-Spades}. Harvey check-called a bet of 10,000. The river came a fourth spade the {a-Spades}. This time Harvey turned the tables and led for 12,000. Kornuth thought a couple of seconds and called.

Harvye said "One pair" and Kornuth tabled the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} which was good as Harvey did not flip his hand over.

Ryan Burr
Ryan Burr

Action was joined on the turn with three players contesting a hand on a board of {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

From the hijack, Ryan Burr bet 3,200. Jacob Ferro called under the gun. Bin Weng then raised to 13,600 from early position. Burr came along with a call and Ferro got out of the way.

The river came the {j-Spades} to pair the board. Weng shoved all in for 24,100. Burr thought for a bit and got a count before ultimately calling.

Weng stood up before turning over his cards indicating that the jig was up and indeed it was as he showed the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} which Burr had beat with the {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Weng was busted.

The board read {6-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Clubs} on the turn. Farid Jattin bet from under the gun and was raised by Jeremy Harvey in the big blind, which Jattin called, the dealer quickly pulled in the best and placed the {8-Clubs} on the river for the third club.

Harvey got a look at Jattin's stack before betting 14,000. Jattin called and Harvey showed the {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the runner runner flush which was the winner as Jattin mucked it.

Polk and Foxen in the Mix

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

The High Roller field has grown in big names as two of the game's more well-known players had joined in the last few minutes.

Alex Foxen, who is also supporting his wife Kristen Foxen who is still alive on Day 2 of the $800 NLH event that is going on at the moment and the one and only Doug Polk who is not only running things at the Lodge Poker Club these days but is also getting his feet wet in some high roller action.

Aces Over Kings Dooms Song

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Charles Alex-Barton
Charles Alex-Barton

Action was picked up on the flop of {5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} with an already decent sized pot in the middle. From the big blind, Stephen Song bet 5,000. Charles Alex-Barton raised to 22,000 from the button which Song called.

The turn came the {5-Diamonds}. Alex-Barton moved all in which Song called as he gave a bit of a frown. It turned out the frown was warranted as Alex-Barton had the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} which coolered the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Song.

The river would need give Song's kings a third partner if he were to avoid busting but it came a measley {2-Hearts} and he was sent away from the table.
