Bout Between Ball and Russo Comes to an End

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Frank Russo
Frank Russo

Frank Russo was under the gun and decided it was time to shove, totaling 151,000. Jonathan Dull called in the cutoff and Collin Ball ripped it in. Ball had 528,000 total and Dull hit the tank.

After a few minutes, Russo called the clock on Dull. The tournament director started a count down and Dull let his hand slide into the muck.

Frank Russo: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Collin Ball: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The dealer fanned out a sweaty-looking {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, giving Russo a flush draw. A {10-Clubs} turn left him with one more shot but the {4-Spades} river missed and Russo was eliminated by Ball's queens.

The two adversaries have been trading blows all day and it was only fitting that Russo's elimination would see Ball on the other side of the hand.
