Event #13: $3,000 Main Event
Day 1b Started
The Lodge Championship Series has been a thrilling ride over the last two weeks but everything has been leading up to today as Event 13: $3,000 NLH Main Event $2,000,000 Guaranteed is now underway here at The Lodge Poker Club in Round Rock, Texas.
The Main Event will have all hopefuls start with 50,000 chips in a structure that is sure to give plenty of play during the 50-minute blind levels. Unlike the previous events that were played down to the money, Day 1's will halt after nine levels of play or when the field has been shaved down to the final 15%, whichever comes first.
Day 1b is the second of six starting flights on the schedule for this event. All survivors who advanced from a Day 1 flight will return Sunday, May 22, at 2 p.m. for the second day where the blinds will increase to 60-minutes. Day 2 will not halt until Level 19 has been met, sending whoever is left to Day 3 for 75-minute levels and a day that will end when just six remain.
The PokerNews live reporting team will be bringing all of the updates throughout the event, so stay tuned as all of the action unfolds.

Cao flopped the nuts but needed to dodge some clubs to take it home. The dealer burned and turned an which hit Panzica with his flush.
Cao then shook his head as he was drawing dead to the river card, shipping a large portion of his stack over to Panzica.
