Lukas Brazdeikis Bubbles Event #15 NLH Turbo

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Lukas Brazdeikis
Lukas Brazdeikis

Nicholas Pupillo went all in with his 150,000 chips, about 12 big blinds, from late position.

Action folded to Lukas Brazdeikis in the small blind who went all in for his 107,000.

Brazdeikis had the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Pupillo had the {j-Spades}{q-Spades}.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} to give Brazdeikis the open-ender to go with his best hand. The turn was the {k-Spades}. With plenty of outs for Pupillo, the river came the {10-Hearts} to hit his gutshot and give him the straight to send Brazdeikis home as the bubble person.

Nunley Makes Quads to Take Over Chip Lead

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
William Nunley

Action picked up on the flop between big stacks William Nunley and Nicholas Pupillo with about 45,000 in the pot. Players got all the chips into the pot on the flop of {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{k-Spades} and had just exposed both of their hands.

Pupillo showed {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for the nut-flush draw and Nunley showed {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for the flopped set.

With about 16% of the chips in play in this pot, Nunley watched as the devastating {4-Clubs} hit the turn. His pain was short-lived, though, when the {7-Hearts} fell on the river to give him quads and the chip lead on the bubble.

Lakkavarapukota Turns a Big Draw and Calls it Off

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Kalyankumar Lakkavarapukota
Kalyankumar Lakkavarapukota

Kalyankumar Lakkavarapukota opened from under the gun to 12,000 and Kevin Garosshen called.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Lakkavarapukota checked the flop. Garosshen bet 20,000 and Lakkavarapukota called.

The turn came the {10-Hearts}, Lakkavarapukota checked again and this time Garosshen ramped up the pressure with an all-in bet, putting Lakkavarapukota to a decision for his tournament life. He had around 90,000 chips and decided to make the call.

Garosshen showed {10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for turned top pair and Lakkavarapukota showed {j-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for the combo draw.

The draws didn't come in, but Lakkavarapukota did hit the {q-Clubs} on the river to double through Garosshen and chip up as the bubble draw close.

Simpson Triples Up but Finds the Penalty Box

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Conrad Simpson
Conrad Simpson

Conrad Simpson went all in for 17,500 in middle position. Immediately to his left, Jessica Richards raised all in to about 60,000.

Thinking the preflop action was over, Simpson went to turn his cards over. In the big blind, though, Blake Barousse had not yet acted.

Barousse eventually did make the call and showed he had {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Jessica Richards showed her {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}.

"I'm fine with that," said Simpson, who had {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

The flop came queen-high and Simpson held for the triple-up, meanwhile Richards was sent home.

"I guess I'll take my penalty now," said Simpson, who had to sit out for an orbit.
