Michael Noori Eliminated in 9th Place ($3,118)

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Michael Noori
Michael Noori

Michael Noori moved all in from early position. Mohammad Bagheri shoved for more in the hijack and everyone else folded.

Norrri had the {q-Spades}{j-Spades} while Bagheri had the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop came with a sweat {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}. The turn was the {8-Hearts} and the river was the {5-Clubs} to end the night for Noori.

He then went to redeem his four bounty chips.

Once again the room waited with bated breath. He drew two $1,000 bounties, then got the second largest one remaining the $7,500 and finished it off with a nervous peel that was only a $400.

Bagheri then chose to draw his newly collected bounty which was the $1,000 to keep the $40,000 still looming.

Tino Glorio

Michael Jozoff opened to 125,000 from middle position, Mahesh Rathi called on the button and Tino Glorio Jr completed as well from the small blind.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and all three checked through to the {4-Diamonds} turn where Glorio fired in 350,000. Jozoff moved all in, Rathi folded and Glorio called for his remaining amount of around 400,000.

Jozoff turned over {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for a pair of sevens with the spade draw and was ahead of Glorio's {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. The {3-Hearts} river missed both, sending another bounty over to Jozoff and Glorio was eliminated in 10th place.

The final table is now set here in Event 5 of the Lodge Championship Series.

Awonke Phewa Eliminated in 13th Place ($1,905)

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Awonke Phewa
Awonke Phewa

There was a big three-way all in preflop with Awonke Phewa at risk with the {q-Spades}{6-Spades}, Mohammad Bagheri had the {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} while Mahesh Rathi had the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades}{a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} to give the big pot to Rathi, shorten Bagheri and eliminate Phewa.

Phewa then went to cash in his four bounty chips and draw envelopes. He dramatically peeled each one as the room watched and rooted for the $40,000 to come off, while the remaining players with bounties anti-sweated the $40,000 jackpot.

The first three he slowly revealed one number at a time, each time the $4 coming up first to heighten the excitement but they were all disappointingly just $400 bounty cards. On the last one he chose to quickly whip it open and reveal it to the crowd watching first, but it was another $400 as he got the minimum from the four bounty cards.
