Inaugural 'The Lord Poker Series' Kicks Off With Opening Event Freeroll at 11 a.m.
After successful branded tournaments in China and Australia, The Lord Poker Tournament series is now ready to stand on its own. Featuring 13 events with over US$8 million in guaranteed prize pools and buy-ins ranging from US$500 to US$50,000, the series is set to attract players from around the globe to the Landing Casino, located within the luxurious Shinhwa World Hotel Jeju.
The action is set to get underway today at 11 a.m. with the TLPT Opening Event, which is a US$600,000 guaranteed freeroll for those who qualified on the AAPoker app.

Players will begin the TLPT Opening Event with 15,000 in chips and blinds starting at 100/100 with a 100 big-blind ante on Level 1. Each level will last 30 minutes each and late registration will close at the start of Level 10. There will be no reentries permitted for this tournament. Breaks will be held at the end of every four levels, with an extended 40-minute break occurring after Level 4 and Level 16.
The plan for the Day 1 is to play down to a final table of nine, at which point the remaining players will bag and tag for the evening. The final table will take place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14.
