Fan Doubles Through Wang With Quads
Level 24
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Jia Wang opened to 100,000 from early position and it was folded to Jinsui Fan, who used up two time banks before announcing he was all in for 450,000 total from the big blind. Wang quickly called and a showdown was held.
Jinsui Fan: A♦K♥
Jia Wang: 10♣10♠
It was a fair fight, but the A♠A♣4♥ flop favored Fan by immediately improving him to trip aces.
The 3♣ turn left Wang drawing to two out for the elimination, but instead the A♥ came on the river to needlessly upgrade Fan to quads for the overkill double up.
