Gavin raised to 30,000 with the 6♠6♣ and won the blinds.

Yisha Chen then made it 30,000 from under the gun with the K♠K♣ and Calvin Lee glanaced at the tournament info before flat-calling with the 7♦7♣, Stephen Song called with 9♣7♠ as well. On the Q♥9♠3♦ flop, it checked to Chen and she bet 30,000 for Lee to fold while Song stuck around for another card.

The A♠ came on the turn and Song checked again, Chen bet 40,000 with her second barrel. Song gave it some fold and folded.

Dominik Nitsche limped first to act and it was folded to Stephen Song, who raised to 50,000 from the small blind. It was folded back to Nitsche, who called.

Song put Nitsche all in on the 9♦10♣5♠ flop and Nitsche called all in for a bit over 200,000.

"Oh my God," Nitsche said upson seeing Song's hand.

Nitsche was drawing to two outs, but the A♦ turn nor Q♠ river changed anything and Song was sent the rest of Nitsche's chips.

Daniel Cates opened to 30,000 first to act with 10♣10♠ and Lei Yu three-bet to 90,000 holding A♥K♠ in the cutoff. Action folded back to Cates, who called.

Cates checked-called a 40,000 bet from Yu on the 3♠9♠Q♦ flop and both players checked on the 8♣ turn.

The 9♣ completed the board and Cates took the initative with an 80,000 bet. Yu burned up a few time extensions, but eventually decided to lay his ace-king down and Cates padded his stack.

Nielsen Eliminated by Nitsche

Dominik Nitsche limped in from under the gun and Martin Nielsen then jammed for the last 65,000 in the next seat with his big blind approaching in two hands. All other players folded and Nitsche instantly called.

Nitsche flipped over his 8♥8♠ and Nielsen grimaced an "I am alive" to first roll over the 3♥ followed by the K♣.

No king or straight came on the Q♥10♦5♦9♦6♥ board and that spelled the end for Nielsen.

One hand later Istvan Birizdo arrived on the outer table and Nitsche was in the big blind. Stephen Song opened to 30,000 from the button and Nitsche flat-called. Following the 10♦6♥2♠ flop, Nitsche check-folded to Song's continuation bet.

The first battle of the blinds on the outer table saw Taylor Black take on Dominik Nitsche and he check-called the A♦Q♦2♠3♥ turn for 40,000. Black checked again the 5♥ on the river and Nitsche checked his cards, then bet 80,000 with 5,000 behind to win the pot uncontested.

One hand later, Black opened to 30,000 on the button and table short stack Martin Nielsen called from the big blind to then check-fold the K♥10♠5♣ flop when facing a bet of 25,000.

Dominik Nitsche opened to 30,000 from the cutoff and was called by Stephen Song in the big blind.

Both players checked on the 9♥J♦9♦ flop and A♥ turn; however, Song put 150,000 into the middle after the 5♦ completed the board — sending Nitsche deep into the tank.

Nitsche burned up a few time extensions contemplating his decision, but eventually decided to lay his hand down and Song dragged the pot.
