Mendoza called a 37,000 bet from Barer on the J♥J♦5♥ flop and then shoved over an 88,000 bet from Barer on the 3♥ turn. Barer committed the rest of his stack into the middle and hands were revealed.

Taylor Black made it 11,000 to go from the cutoff and Istvan Birizdo three-bet to 35,000 with 132,000 behind from the big blind. The initial raiser double-checked his cards once more and Black just called to see the 8♠4♦3♥ on the flop.

Birizdo bet 22,000 and Black continued his slow play to just call ahead of the 10♣ on the turn. With 121,000 in the middle and 110,000 behind, Birizdo bet 40,000 and Black min-raised. The eventual shove by the Hungarian followed and Black instantly called.
