Yang Liu limped in from middle position with 8♣5♣ and Fangzhou Zhu set the trap by just calling behind with Q♠Q♥. Stephen Song took the bait with a raise to 90,000 in the cutoff holding A♥J♣. It was back on Liu who stepped out with a reraise to 240,000 with just eight-high.
Zhu deliberated for a moment and then jammed all in for 455,000. Song quickly threw his ace into the muck and Liu asked for a count. With a grin on his face, Liu gave it some thought before making the call.
The flop came J♠3♥2♥ and Zhu was way out front with his pocket queens. The 3♦ on the turn sealed the deal and the K♦ on the river became a formality as Zhu collected a surprising double up.
