Lamphere Counterfeit Leads to Exit

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We didn't catch all of the action, but Adam Lamphere is out after his pocket fives were busted by the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} of Michael Ermie when the board ran out {8-}{2-}{8-}{7-}{7-}.

With a higher two pair on the board, Ermie's ace kicker was good and it was showers for Lamphere.

Big Stacks Battle

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Jeremy Ehrke raised to 10,500 from under the gun and Nik Stone three-bet to 25,500 from middle position. Action folded back to Ehrke and he made the call. The flop was {k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Ehrke check-raised to 70,000 after Stone continued for 30,000.

Stone let it go and the pot for Ehrke left the two close to even at or near the chip lead.

Griebe Grabs More Chips

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We walked up to heads-up action between Michael Griebe and Brian Newman. After a flop of {9-}{k-}{6-}, Newman moved all in and Griebe made the quick call.

Newman: {a-}{j-}

Griebe: {k-}{7-}

The {4-} turn and {10-} river kept Griebe's hand good and his stack is large.

We picked up the action after an {8-Clubs}{k-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop and three-way action. After two checks, Johnny Bahri bet 12,000 and only Adam Friedman made the call. The {j-Spades} on the turn brought two checks and the {2-Clubs} fell on the river. Friedman bet 44,000 and Bahri folded.

Nik Stone raised to 8,000 from early position, Mike Dolehanty called from the cutoff and Samuel Angott called from the big blind. The flop came {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Angott checked. Stone bet 13,000, Dolehanty called and Angott moved all in for 74,500.

Stone moved all in over the top, prompting a fold from Dolehanty.

Stone: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
