Vang Takes Three-Bet Pot With Turn Shove

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

In a three-bet pot, Kou Vang checked a {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop to Dan Colpoys, who bet 66,000. Vang made the call, and a {3-Hearts} came on the turn. Colpoys bet 105,000 when checked to, and Vang thought for awhile before pushing all in for 332,000. Colpoys laid it down.

Colpoys Busts McCabe

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Dan McCabe busted in 21st.
Dan McCabe busted in 21st.

Dan Colpoys opened for a raise in middle position, and Dan McCabe shoved for about 100,000 on the button. Colpoys made the call.

Colpoys: {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
McCabe: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

McCabe was ahead with ace-king, but Colpoys had live cards, and he took the lead with a pair of queens on the {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} flop. The {2-Hearts} and {3-Hearts} were bricks, and McCabe headed for the payout desk.

Dreyfuss Rivers the Boat

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

We found Dan Dreyfuss with a bet of 70,000 in front of him on a board of {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Shawn Collett was in the tank, and eventually he called.

Dreyfuss showed {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} for a rivered board, and he took the pot.

Bohn Busto

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Blake Bohn recently went bust.
Blake Bohn recently went bust.

Blake Bohn busted out in a hand we didn't see. The room will surely be much quieter (and some would say more boring) without the boisterous Minnesotan around.

Zotti Leads the Turn

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Brad Zotti stacks his chips.

Brad Zotti opened for 24,000 in the cutoff, and Rosie Paules made it 60,000 on the button. Zotti called, and the flop came {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. Zotti check-called 65,000, and the turn brought a {9-Spades}. Zotti bet out 125,000, and Paules folded, saying she had QQ.

Gioia Busts Steele

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Patrick Steele busted in 23rd.
Patrick Steele busted in 23rd.

Gene Gioia three-bet to 75,000 from late position after Patrick Steele opened for 28,000. Steele jammed for about 200,000, and Gioia called.

Gioia: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Steele: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Gioia had the lead with queens, and nothing changed on the {8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} community.

At another table, Michael McCloud busted out.

Torres Gets What He Asks For; Schwertley Doubles

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Brett Schwertley doubled up.
Brett Schwertley doubled up.

Miguel Torres bet 30,000 after a flop of {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Joseph Triolo shoved for 67,000, and Torres was priced in. Triolo rolled over {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for top pair.

"I need a nine," Torres said with a sigh, tossing {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} into the middle.

The dealer burned and turned a {9-Spades}, granting Torres his wish immediately. A {6-Hearts} completed the hand, and Torres busted his unfortunate foe.

Shortly thereafter at the same table, Brett Schwertley shoved all in for 112,000 in the cutoff, and Kou Vang called in the small blind.

Schwertley: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Vang: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Schwertley won the race when the board came {2-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

Two All Ins

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Nader Wahdan
Nader Wahdan

On one table, Jonathan Haidsiak shoved all in preflop with {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}, only to run into the {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} of Dan Dreyfuss. Unfortunately for Dreyfuss, the first four cards came {10-}{9-}{7-}{8-}, giving his opponent an unbeatable straight. He was unable to hit a chopping out on the river, and he sent most of his chips to Haidsiak.

On another table, Nader Wahdan got it all in preflop with {k-}{q-} against the {j-}{j-} of William Givens. The jacks held when Wahdan was unable to hit anything on the board.

Wagner Gets Two Streets

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Kris Wagner fired 37,000 on the {7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop after a single opponent checked to him. The players called, and he then called 53,000 on the {6-Spades} turn. Both players checked the {a-Spades} river, and Wagner showed {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}, which was good.
