Koh Takes Over the Chip Lead; Gao and Raghavan Sent to the Rail
Level 11
: 600/1,200, 200 ante
Michael Koh has shot up the chip counts in the last 30 minutes thanks in no small part to a fortunate river card.
We picked up the action on a ![]()
![]()
flop when a raising war resulted in Koh and another player getting it all in the middle with the latter at risk. Koh held the ![]()
for a flush and gutshot straight draw, which he needed to hit to overcome the ![]()
of his opponent. The
turn didn't do it, but the
river did. Koh raked in the juicy pot and is currently sitting with right around 150,000.
Meanwhile, one-time chip leader Leon Gao has been eliminated from the tournament, as has World Poker Tour Five Diamond champ Ravi Raghavan.
