Tim Ling opened for a raise under the gun and got three-bet to 5,000 by the player on the button. Big blind Mychal Sheridan raised it up yet again, to what appeared to be 9,000, and Ling shipped for 19,600. The player on the button folded, and Sheridan called.

Ling had the lead, but a flop was a cause for concern, giving Sheridan a flush draw. The was a safe turn, and a bricked on the river, giving Ling the double.
Minnesota crushers Matt Kirby and Lance Harris both bowed out of the tournament recently in hands we didn't see. More than likely, we'll see them for Day 1b tomorrow.
Four players put in 2,500 preflop, with Adam Lamphere raising the pot under the gun, but everyone checked to the turn, which made the board .
