Welcome to Day 2 of 2014 Mid-States Poker Tour Tropicana Evansville
It's time for the championship chase, as Day 2 of Mid-States Poker Tour Tropicana Evansville will begin at 10:30 a.m. local time here in Indiana.
A total of 43 players have navigated their Day 1 fields to find themselves here, and the one with pole position is Michael Hahn, an Indiana native who brings 299,000 into play. He holds a slight lead over Brian Oberst (295,500), Charlie Dawson (286,500), and Alex Yen (270,000). Further down in the chip counts are some players who may not have heaps, but who certainly can't be overlooked due to their championship experience. Newly signed tour pro Kou Vang (67,500), Eric Crain (64,500), and Adam Friedman (32,000) all loom as threats.
Play will begin at Level 15 (1,500/3,000/500) with play lasting until a winner has been decided. Levels will once again be 40 minutes long, until the final table. At that point, hour-long levels will commence. Stay tuned to PokerNews as report all of the exciting hands to you.
