Olson Doubles

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Willie Olson went the open shoving route, putting his 1,300,000 in. A moment ago he got looked up by Kirby Rogers on the {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} and was behind with the {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Olson doubled.

More Dark Bets and Double Ups

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Carl Carodenuto made it 275,000 and Kirby Rogers called.

Once again, before the flop, Carodenuto bet dark, this time making it 375,000. Rogers saw the {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop and raised it to 875,000.

Carodenuto folded.

A hand later, Willie Olson doubled up short stack Ryan Tyler, calling off with the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} versus the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Olson hit and eight, but it made Tyler a straight.

The end of the 29th level will be remembered as the time when Carl Carodenuto made it 175,000 and Kirby Rogers called. But before a king-high flop would be revealed, Carodenuto blind bet another 275,000.

Rogers folded, and Carodenuto picked up the very next pot with a 300,000 open under the gun.

On to Level 30 they go.

Double Double

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Brian Berthiaume shipped it in for 555,000 over a Willie Olson 200,000-chip open and Olson made the call with the {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

Berthiaume had put his tournament life on the line with the {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and doubled up on a {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{k-Clubs} run out.

A hand later Berthiaume called Ryan Tyler's open shove and was behind his {a-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} with the {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

Tyler doubled on an {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades} board.
