Hebekeuser's Knockout Nines

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

A player under the gun raised all in for 12,025 and Ben Hebekeuser reshoved all in for about 4,000 more. Everyone folded and Hebekeuser and the under the gun player were heads up. Hebekeuser had {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and his opponent had {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. The board ran out {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Hebekeuser won the pot and eliminated his opponent.

Last Chance Qualifier for Day 1c

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante
MSPT FireKeepers Day 1b
MSPT FireKeepers Day 1b

MSPT will be running a $250 turbo satellite starting in three hours, starting at 8 p.m. local time. Seats will fill up fast as this is the last chance to qualify for a Day 1 flight in the Michigan State Championship Main Event.

There will be one seat into Saturday's Day 1c flight for everyone five players who register and seating is limited, so players may find themselves on the alternates list if they late register.

Short Stack Attack

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Ron Bell and Gary Bolton both had short stacks and got all their chips in heads up against each other. Bolton shoved his remainging 3,400 into Bell and Bell called with {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Bell was ahead and stayed ahead of Bolton's {a-Spades}{4-Hearts} and sent Bolton home early. There is still time for Bolton to rebuy for today's flight, should he want to, so he might not be done for the day. Bell is still one of the shorter stacks at the table and will probably be looking to double up soon.
