Baime Folds to Midena

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ken Baime opened for 29,000 in early position and got two callers. He bet the {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop for 49,000. The player in the cutoff folded, but big blind Tom Midena came out with 125,000 after thinking a minute or so. Baime called fairly quickly, and Midena jammed the {9-Hearts} turn for about 340,000. Baime folded after about 90 seconds.

Bruce "Hammer" Swart

Bruce Swart pushed all in for 99,000 in the small blind, and the big blind called. Swart had {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and was racing against {7-}{7-}. The "Hammer" found a queen on the flop to survive.

Serratos Eliminated

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We found Jose Serratos sending most of his stack to Philip Wojtuniecki in a blind-versus-blind battle. The dealer counted down Wojtuniecki's stack of 138,000 and Serratos was left with just 11,000. The board had come {6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, giving Wojtuniecki top pair with {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Serratos' cards were already mucked.

The next hand, Serratos put in his remaining stack when it was folded to him in the small blind, just enough to call the big blind against Dan Bekavac.

Bekavac: {5-}{3-}
Serratos: {9-}{7-}

Serratos' turn with the nine-seven also resulted in top pair as {4-}{7-}{2-} flopped, but an {a-} on the river gave Bekavac a wheel.

Jim Dark opened to 21,000 under the gun, and Mark Johnson shoved all in. Dark called off for less, about 125,000.

Dark: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, and Dark was done.
