Bohn Calling Hole Cards

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Blake Bohn
Blake Bohn

A bit after calling Mark Hodge's two hole cards exactly and finagling a crying call out of him, Blake Bohn pulled off the feat again. He opened to 800 and saw the player on his left reraise to 1,600. The big blind cold-called, and Bohn called as well, seeing {8-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Spades} flop. The big blind checked, and Bohn bet 4,000. The reraised quickly folded.

"Don't make me do the whole spiel again," Bohn said.

"No, I want to hear something," the big blind said. "What do I have?"

"None of that," Bohn said, pointing at the board with certainty. "Ace-five of clubs."

The big blind mucked the {5-Clubs} face-up.

Wiora Takes Big Pot From Jefferson

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

A player in early position bet 2,600 and got two calls on a {10-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop, and Ben Wiora raised to 10,000 as the last player to act in the big blind. The bettor folded, but Ryan Jefferson called, and the small blind folded. Wiora checked on the {a-Clubs} turn, and he called 10,000 from Jefferson. The {10-Diamonds} paired the board on the river, and Wiora said he was all in. Jefferson seemed disgusted as he folded, muttering a choice curse as he left his seat.

Sanders Doubles; Ficek Busted

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Michael Sanders doubled up with {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}, good for deuces full after he flopped a set and ran a boat when the turn and river paired the board. He had roughly 22,000 when stacks were counted down.

At another table, Darren Ficek check-raised a 2,700 bet to what looked like about 6,000 on an {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop. His opponent shoved, and Ficek called. Shown {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}, Ficek got up and slapped {5-}{5-} down in frustration. He didn't hit his one-outer.

Stevermer Binks a Flush

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Dennis Stevermer opened for 450 under the gun, and a player two to his left made it 1,450. The big blind cold-called after action folded to him, and Stevermer called as well. The three saw {5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, and action checked to the aggressor, who bet an unknown amount after tossing out a T5,000 chip. The big blind folded, and Stevermer made it 7,000. His opponent shoved, and Stevermer called immediately with {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for a flush draw. His opponent turned over {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} but was drawing dead after a {4-Clubs} hit the turn.
