Bryan Goes to Hollywood

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

We found Tim Bryan considering a 25,000 bet from Blake Bohn on a {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} board.

"Beggin' for a call," Bryan said.

"I don't want you to call," Bohn said. "What if you beat me? It's almost all your gray [T5,000] chips."

After tanking a couple of minutes, Bryan pushed out 50,000, getting a laugh from Adam Friedman.

"I thought that might be coming," Bohn said before putting in a call. "You win all the money."

Indeed, Bryan's {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} was good.

"Problem is, he could have gotten so much more."

Himmelbrand's Two Pair Better

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Greg Himmelbrand bet 15,500 on a {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop, and James Bergen called. Himmelbrand checked and called 33,000 on the {k-Hearts} turn, and a {4-Spades} prompted two checks. Bergen showed {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} for two pair, but Himmelbrand had it beat with {k-Spades}{j-Spades}.

Players are on break for 10 more minutes.

Moorjani Eliminates Soleimanlou

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Vinod Moorjani opened for 6,000 on the button, and Ali Soleimanlou said he was all in from the small blind. It was about 60,000, and Moorjani called after glancing at the stack.

Moorjani: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Soleimanlou: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, no help to Soleimanlou.

"Enjoy my chips," Friedman said, referencing his earlier beat against Soleimanlou.

Adams, Mostafa Eliminated

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Mo Mostafa
Mo Mostafa

Two players formerly at the top of the counts, Mo Mostafa and Lenard Adams, just busted out.

Mostafa three-bet to about 20,000 after a raise from Adam White, and he called off when White put him all in for about 100,000. Mostafa's jacks were ahead of {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, but an ace on the flop left him drawing nearly dead and White his another one of his outs on the river for good measure.

In Adams' case, he first doubled up Matthew Kottal when he opened {q-}{j-} and called Kottal's short-stack shove. Kottal's {a-}{k-} held up after both players flopped a pair. Adams then lost the rest with {a-}{q-} to a player holding {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}.
