Welcome to the final day of Mid-States Poker Tour's stop here at Running Aces Harness Park in Columbus, MN. 328 players showed up to play in this event and of those, 36 will make the money. This means that today, 25 of the 61 remaining players will need to be eliminated before the money begins.
Nancy Anderson will start Day 2 as chip leader with 234,000. Derek Lesniak will start in second with 232,000, and Ron McMillen rounds out the top three with 211,000.
Some of the more notable names in contention include MSPT Pros Matt Kirby (187,000) and Matt Alexander (76,500). Play will begin at 11:00 a.m. and progress until the final table is determined At that point we will see the tournament pause for a dinner break.
