Pupillo Sniffs Out Bluff

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Nick Pupillo opened for 600 from the hijack and Robert Adsem three-bet to 1,500 from the cutoff. Action on the table folded back to Pupillo who called.

The {7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop was checked to the {7-Diamonds} turn. Pupillo lead out for 1,800 and called Adsem's 4,000 raise to see the {8-Hearts} fall on the river.

Pupillo checked to Adsem who fired out 6,000. Pupillo thought for a few moments, looked at the clock then at Adesm and tossed in his chips for the call.

Adsem showed {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for nothing and Pupillo scooped the pot with {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

A Third Lady for Hernke Secures Double

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Nathan Anderson opened for 600 from late position and Joseph Osterbauer three-bet to 2,000 next to act. Action folded around to Nathan Hernke who four-bet all in for 9,400 from the big blind and was called by Osterbauer after Anderson mucked his hand.

Nathan Hernke: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Joseph Osterbauer: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Hernke was ahead and improved after the {9-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop but it also gave Osterbauer a gutterball.

The sweat didn't last long for Hernke as the turn came the {2-Hearts} giving him the full house and he doubled up after the {a-Spades} river completed the board.
