Mike Lang
Mike Lang

A player in early position raised , Adam Friedman and Mike Lang came along for the ride.

The flop came down {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Action was checked around. The turn came the {j-Hearts}. Lang led out with a bet of 3,000. The first player folded and Friedman called.

The river was the {7-Diamonds}. Lang checked again and Friedman made a testing bet of 12,500. Lang thought it out for about a full minute before calling.

Friedman said good call and turned over the {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for nothing while Lang showed down the winner with the {j-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and took in the pot.

Friedman KO's Set of Aces With Straight

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Action was picked up on the river on a board that read {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. A large pot was in the middle and the first player to act bet 16,000.

Adam Friedman stared him down before announcing all in which got a snap call from his opponent.

Freidman turned over the {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for the straight and all his opponent could do was turn over {a-}{a-} in defeat to show that his powerful set had gone up in flames.

Massey Shoves River

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Ralph Massey and Aaron Johnson went to the river with a pot accumulated to about 13,500. After the river was peeled the board read {3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Johnson checked and Massey pounced, applying maximum pressure by putting out a large stack that was enough to cover Johnson.

Johnson thought it over for a while and eventually folded his hand.

Yin Busts Opponent With Nut Flush

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Yao "YY" Yin was seen collecting all of his opponent's stack, which was very close to his own.

The board read {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Spades} with the {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} of Yin showing as the winner. He had evidently flopped the goods and found a way to extract the entire chip stack of his opponent, whose cards had already been mucked.
