Hand #1: Robert Mitchell was under the gun and opened to 3,500. Action folded around to Lisa Thomas, who pushed forward all of her chips and announced a raise to 14,700. The math added up to prove she was all in and action folded back to Mitchell, who thought for a few moments before letting his cards go as well.
Hand #2: On the following hand, Phil Mader opened to 3,000 from early position and Thomas three-bet all in again. Action folded back to Mader.
"Easy," he said with a grin as he sent his cards to the muck.
Meanwhile, Thomas has increased her stack from 14,700 to 29,200 after winning the two consecutive pots and now finds herself with a workable 20 big-blind stack.
