"YY" Shows the Nuts

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante
Yao Yin
Yao Yin

Nick Pupillo opened the action with a raise to 400 from the cutoff. The player on the button called and Yao "YY" Yin came along as well, defending his big blind to take postflop action three ways.

The flop fell {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Yin tapped the top of a stack of chips twice to indicate a check. Pupillo made a continuation-bet of 600, which the player on the button called. Yin found action back upon him and postured for a few moments before throwing in a check-raise to 5,000. Both Pupillo and the player on the button quickly folded.

Yin turned over {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, showing that he had flopped the nuts. The dealer sent him the pot and he added some commentary as he stacked his chips.

"I didn't want you guys to see another card for free!" said Yin, laughing as he finished adding to his stack and the next hand began.

Herstein Wins with River Bet

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

There was a four-way limped pot on a flop of {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and both players in the blinds checked to a player in middle position, who bet 300. Gary Herstein was in the cutoff and called. Both blinds then folded to take action heads up to the turn {7-Diamonds}.

The middle-position player bet 300 and Herstein stuck around, bringing the river {5-Spades}. The middle-position player then checked.

Herstein fired out 2,000 and the player in middle position tossed his cards to the middle, resulting in the pot being sent Herstein's way.

Garcia Wins a Small Showdown

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante
Andres Garcia
Andres Garcia

A player raised to 300 from middle position and Andres Garcia announced a three-bet to 800 out of the hijack. Action folded back to the opener and he made the call, bringing a flop of {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Both players checked.

Action again checked through both the turn {10-Clubs} and river {4-Hearts} to take the hand to showdown.

Garcia tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} after checking back for ace-queen high. His opponent remarked that the second-nut-no-pair was good and sent his cards to the muck.

Joseph Flops Top Two

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

There was just under 3,000 in the pot on a board reading {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} with heads up action between the big blind and Johanssy Joseph, who was in the cutoff. The big blind checked and Joseph bet 1,300, which was called.

The river came {5-Spades} and the big blind checked again. Joseph fired another 2,000 and quickly received a call.

Joseph showed {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and the dealer announced aces and queens with a king. His opponent sent his second-best hand face-up to the middle of the table and the dealer quickly scooped up the cards with the board and sent the pot Joseph's way.

Sinclair Shoots Down Opponent

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Robert Sinclair was under the gun and pumped it up to 800. He was called by Nick Pupillo, who was on his direct left, and action folded around to the big blind, who three-bet to 2,900.

Sinclair confirmed the amounts and then put in a four-bet to 7,800. Pupillo shook his head and let his cards go to put action back onto the big blind, who announced he was all in. Sinclair immediately announced a call.

All-In Player: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Robert Sinclair: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Sinclair's bullets were well ahead of his opponent's ladies and the situation remained unchanged as the runout came {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts}, leaving the big blind to tap the felt in congratulations of a nice hand as he got up and made his way from the tournament area.
