Carlos Correa

Ark Onikul opened to 24,000 in the cutoff and Carlos Correa re-shoved on him from the small blind. Onikul called all in for slightly less without any delay.

"It's time to gamble!" said Onikul, showing {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Correa displayed {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

Onikul remained ahead for the flop {k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs} but the turn {8-Spades} left him in dire shape. He missed his two outer on the river {5-Hearts} and wound up eliminated from the tournament as a result.

Kings Good for Santos

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Josias Santos
Josias Santos

Nick Pupillo had opened under the gun and was facing a three-bet to 65,000 from Josias Santos, who was on his direct left. He made the call to see a flop of {7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}, which both players checked.

The turn came {8-Diamonds} and Pupillo tapped the felt to check again with Santos following suit. The river fell {10-Clubs} and Pupillo checked a third time. Santos took about 25 seconds and then decided to check behind, taking the hand to showdown.

Pupillo tabled {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for a pair of fives and Santos showed {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and won the pot with his pair of kings.
