Tice Keeps Climbing

Level 32 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Landon Tice raised it up to 425,000 on the button and was called by Brandon Lombardo, who defended his big blind. Both players checked through the flop {j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and the turn came {8-Hearts}. Lombardo checked again and Tice fired out a bet of 650,000. Lombardo called.

The river was {3-Clubs}. Lombardo checked to Tice, who counted out a bet and set it onto the table. Lombardo asked how much.

"One-point-five (million)," said Tice. Lombardo took another five seconds or so to call.

Tice quickly and confidently flipped over {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Tice flashed him his cards to Tice, mentioning that the turn cost him once more before sending them face down into the muck.

Moments later, the pair were involved in a raising war preflop that saw Tice take another handful of big blinds off of Lombardo when the latter of the two blinked first and folded.
