Pupillo Makes the Right Call

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

On the turn of a board reading {3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and about 6,000 in the middle of a heads-up pot, Hayden Liotta checked. Nick Pupillo bet 3,200 and Liotta made the call.

After the dealer fanned the {2-Hearts} on the river, Liotta carefully counted his chips and then slid out a bet of 4,200, which appeared to make Pupillo a little uncomfortable.

Pupillo thought for a quick moment, made the call, and after Liotta tabled {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, Pupillo then tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and scooped the pot.
