Welcome to the Final Starting Flight of the MSPT Grand Falls $360 Regional Event
Two flights down, one to go: It’s time for Day 1c of the 2021 Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) Grand Falls Casino $360 Regional Event.
The third and final starting flight presents the next opportunity for players to earn their seats into Sunday’s Day 2. Thursday’s Day 1a saw 188 entries and Friday's Day 1b saw another massive 261 added to the tally, bringing the two-day total up to 449. This figure has completely smashed the most recent edition of this tournament that was held last March where 370 total entries were recorded.
The $50,000 guaranteed prize pool has already been obliterated and another large field is expected today with those players looking to make their way up the mountain top.
Just like the previous starting flights, players will receive a starting stack of 25,000. Levels will be of 30 minutes and there will be a 10-minute break every four levels. Late registration and re-entries will remain available until the start of Level 13. Players are allowed one re-entry per flight and any player who advances can only enter a subsequent flight if they forfeit their stack.
As for the happenings on the first two days, Day 1a chip leader Abraham Garang (629,000) leads the way with Day 1b chip leader Justin Rustvold (404,000) currently second in chips. Six more players behind them finished with more than 300,000, with 61 players currently on the Day 2 roster.
