Three Flopped Straights Chop It Up

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

A very rare hand was in the works on the corner table as the board read {5-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

Three players were getting chips that the dealer was splitting up as one player had the {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}, the second player had the {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and the third had the {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

All the chips got in on the flop as all three flopped the straight. The player with the lone diamond had the backdoor flush draw but the turn ended that possibility as the three chopped it up.

Patch Holds Off Flush

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

On a flop of {j-Spades}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Stephen Patch bet 3,000 from the button and Matthew Livingston called.

The turn was the {4-Clubs}. Patch bet 3,000 again and Livingston jammed all in as he had Patch covered slightly. Patch stood up and thought a few moments before he called.

Patch had the lead with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} while Livingston had the draw to the flush with the {a-Spades}{9-Spades}.

The river came a blank {7-Clubs} and Patch collected the double while Livingston was left with a few chips and busted a couple of hands later.

Hui Busts Gordon With Top Set

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

There were five players on a flop of {2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. From the big blind, Hoi Hui led for 3,000. Two players folded and Colin Gordon jammed all in, another player folded and Hui snap called.

Hui had the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} which was completely dominating the {9-Spades}{8-Clubs} of Gordon.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and the river the {a-Diamonds} to bust Gordon as he headed over to registration to immediately buy back in.

Hart Swallows Chips With Quads

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

The flop read {9-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Albert Hart checked from the big blind. Quinten Yanick made a big jam all in as Hart had near starting stack.

Hart could not call quick enough and turned over the {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for flopped quads. Yanick turned river his fairly irrelevant {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} as he was drawing dead bar miracle running tens.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and river the {q-Clubs} and Hart collected a big double up.
