Day 1c of MSPT Bally’s Black Hawk $1,110 Main Event has reached it’s conclusion with 43 players remaining after 10 hours of play. The busy Saturday attracted 369, by far the largest of the three starting days.

Leading the pack as the night ended was Jonathan Olson, native of Iowa who now lives in Colorado. He was spotted with a huge stack late in the night and only continued to add from there as he finished with an astounding 755,000 in chips which is the largest stack accumulated on any of the starting days.

In second place was a well-known name in Colorado poker and in poker in general, one Will Givens. Givens has amassed 2.7 million in career poker earnings and will be looking to make another deep run here as he bagged 627,000 for the night.

Some distance behind in third place was Kevin Palmer with 474,000, Rodney Colson, who hit a king-high straight flush late in the night, was fourth with 363,000 and rounding out the top five stacks to end the night was Quinten Yanick with 341,000. Yanick got to that mark thanks to a huge double-up on the very last hand of the night.

Several other notable players found a bag and will head into Day 2, including; Matt Johnston (308,000), Sarah Stefan (210,000), Jessica Vierling (168,000), DJ Buckley (130,000} and Ben Keeline (112,000).

The surviving 43 players join the surviving 27 from Day 1b and the 10 from Day 1a to make for 80 players in total who will be heading to Day, which gets underway at 11 a.m local time on Sunday, January 30th.

PokerNews will be there to provide all the updates of the money bubble and the final few tables on what promises to be a scintillating Day 2 of MSPT action.

Action was picked up on the river as the board read {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades}. From the small blind, Rodney Colson jammed all in. His opponent shook his head in frustration but called quickly.

Colson tabled the super nuts with the {k-Spades}{10-Spades} for the straight flush.

"Hard to beat that hand" said a tablemate as Colson raked in the large pot.

There was a big three-way in progress with Noomis Jones having the chance to take out two players in one fell swoop.

Maxwell Young: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Allen Kessler: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Noomis Jones: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The flop came scary for Jones {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades} and left him rooting hard for under cards which would come as the {7-Hearts} came on the turn and the {5-Hearts} hit the river to hold for Jones and bust Young and Kessler.
