Chaudhuri Tries to Force Peck to Fold, It Doesn't Work

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Samrat Ray Chaudhuri limped in early position before Dustin Peck raised to 1,700 in late position. Two players called, and so did Chaudhuri.

The flop was {3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Action checked to Peck who continued for 2,500. With both in-between players folding to Chaudhuri, he check-raised to 6,000. Peck called fairly quickly.

The turn came the {j-Clubs} and Chaudhuri moved all in for about 15,000 effective with Peck being the shorter stack. Peck made the call.

"I need a nine," said Chaudhuri. "I thought you would fold."

Dustin Peck: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Samrat Ray Chaudhuri: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Peck drilled the turn and his pair held up on the {7-Clubs} river to get the double.
