Day 1b Of MSPT Riverside Kicks Off Today

Riverside Iowa Tournament Field
Riverside Iowa Tournament Field

Yesterday’s flight saw a total of 114 entrants with only 13 of them surviving onto Day 2. Today begins the second flight of the Mid-States Poker Tour Riverside $1,100 Main Event, which expects to see a larger number than the Thursday flight. All of this with a $300,000 prize pool guarantee up for grabs.

The players will sit down with 25,000 in starting chips with blinds at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante and levels going up every 40 minutes. After every three levels, there will be a 10-minute break. After Level 9 there will be a 40-minute dinner break, after which the players will come back, play an additional three levels until registration closes. After which, the players will play three more levels and then bag up for the day at the end of Level 15, or until 12% of the field remains, in which case there will be a hard stop.
