The first two flights of the The Mid-States Poker Tour $1,100 Main Event at Riverside Casino and Golf Resort in Iowa have concluded with a total of 365 entrants throwing their hat in the ring. The prize pool guarantee has been met and surpassed, with it currently sitting at $367,630, meaning that all entrants this flight will be adding to an already met guarantee.

A cluster of four players all ended up at the top of the counts in the most recent flight.Jon Maras lead the way with 567,000, with Bill Brudenell (548,000), Mark Davis (527,000), and Jonathan Johnson (515,000) all bagged over half a million. The 35 survivors from last flight will continue play tomorrow at 11 am with the 13 survivors from the previous flight to play down to a winner.

Today expects the biggest flight, with many MSPT regulars expected to make appearances in the hope of finding a bag. Players like MSPT winners Aaron Johnson, Craig Trost, Dan Goepel, John Dennehey, as well as other regulars like CJ Peake, Marquez Davis, Sarah Stefan, Miles Barnum, DJ Buckley, and Michael Berk.

The players will sit down with 25,000 in starting chips with blinds at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante and levels going up every 40 minutes. After every three levels, there will be a 10-minute break. Registration will end at the beginning of level 13. After which, the players will play three more levels and then bag up for the day at the end of Level 15, or until 12% of the field remains, in which case there will be a hard stop.
