Nguyen Calls Correctly

Ha Nguyen raised to 600 from the button and then called the 2,000 three-bet from the small blind.

The flop came and Nguyen called the 1,300 continuation bet from his opponent and the turn was checked by both players to the river.

Nguyen called the 3,500 bet from his opponent and both players tabled their hands.

The small blind rolled over for queen-high and Nguyen quickly showed to win the pot with a pair of jacks.

Baime Wins with Aggression

MSPT Majestic Star Champ Ken Baime raised to 500 from the cutoff and was called by Brad Sailor from the small blind, along with the big blind.

The flop was checked to Baime who continued for 900 and only the big blind called to see the turn.

Action was checked to Baime once again who fired out an uncontested 2,100 bet to win the pot.

Berthelsen Flushes Brenden for Double Up

There was heads-up action between Kevin Berthelsen from the hijack and Harold Brenden from the small blind.

The board read and Brenden called a 7,000 raise from Berthelsen to see the complete the board on the river.

Brenden checked to Berthelsen who moved all-in for 13,200 and Brenden reluctantly called.

Berthelsen quickly showed for the king-high flush and collected his double-up after Brenden mucked his hand facedown.

After MSPT Hall of Famer Aaron Johnson limped in from under the gun, the player from middle position raised to 1,300 and found three callers which included Johnson.

The flop was checked to the initial raiser who continued for 2,600 and only Johnson called.
