Rob Wazwaz Tripped Up by McFate

Dan McFate raised to 3,500 from under the gun and then called the 19,000 three-bet jam MSPT Hall of Famer Rob Wazwaz made from the small blind.

The turn left Wazwaz drawing dead and he reentered the tournament after the paired the board on the river.

Melander Dodges Flush for Double Up

There were four players that saw a flop and action was checked to Todd Melander in middle position.

With roughly 20,000 already in the middle, Melander fired out a 7,000 bet and was called by the button before the small blind check-raised to 27,000.

After the big blind folded, Melander three-bet jammed for 40,000 and only the small blind called.

Melander was ahead after flopping top pair but had a sweat as his opponent held the heart flush draw.

The turn was a red card, but it was the and Melander was able to settle down his heart rate after the secured his double-up on the river.

Gregg Bets First and Wins

James Gregg limped-in from middle position only to have the hijack raise to 4,500. Action folded to the small blind who called and Gregg came along as well.

The flop was checked around by all three players and the fell on the turn.

Action was checked to Gregg who fired out an uncontested 8,000 bet to win the pot.

Wiatrowski Won't be Pushed Around

A player from early position raised to 4,500 and found three callers which included Jeff Grimes from the hijack, along with Adam Wiatrowski from the big blind.

The flop was checked to the initial raiser who continued for 6,500. The player from middle position called while Grimes folded, and action was back on Wiatrowski who check-jammed for roughly 50,000.

The price was too steep for both of Wiatrowski's opponents as they quickly mucked their hands.
