Tang Triples in Three-Way All-In

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Brad Sailor opened to 2,500 in early position and was called by Luke Nguyen and Jason Tang behind him in late position and Lena Evans in the big blind.

On a flop of {4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades}, action was checked to Sailor who continued for 6,500. Nguyen called, and Tang moved in for about 19,500.

Evans then folded, while Sailor re-raised all-in for approximately 50,000, which also got a call from Nguyen for about 40,000 total.

Luke Nguyen: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}
Jason Tang: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Brad Sailor: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Sailor had the best of it, but would have to fade a pair of open-ended straight draws.

The turn brought the {6-Clubs}, giving Tang his straight, while the {5-Diamonds} fell on the river to secure the win to triple up, while Sailor won the side pot and Nguyen was eliminated.

Alsup Eliminates Vu

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Rich Alsup
Rich Alsup

Timothy Vu's seat was recently seen empty, and his tournament executioner Rich Alsup provided the details.

On a four-way flop of {7-}{8-}{9-}, Alsup bet 3,000 and was only called by Vu.

The turn brought a {10-} to put four to a straight on the board and after Alsup checked, Vu jammed for 28,000, which was called by Alsup.

Vu showed {3-}{4-} for a stone bluff, while Alsup had {8-}{8-} for a set of eights to eliminate Vu from the tournament.

Meanwhile at another table, Lena Evans was eliminated, but she has opted to re-enter, receiving a fresh 25,000 in chips.

Pitesa Enters, Quickly Doubles; While Friedman, Others Eliminated

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Anthony Pitesa entered the tournament during the last break and has quickly doubled his stack and then some.

After Harvey Alegado opened, Pitesa jammed for 34,500, which got a call from Alegado. Pitesa's time in the tournament was potentially very short-lived.

Anthony Pitesa: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Harvey Alegado: {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

The board came {6-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Clubs}, pairing Pitesa's ace, which would hold up to give him a double up.

Meanwhile, Adam Friedman was among a pair of others to be eliminated at adjacent tables.

Alegado Among Latest Eliminations

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Harvey Alegado got the last of his chips in against Adrian Lopez preflop and had way the best of it to begin with.

Harvey Alegado: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Adrian Lopez: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Alegado held through the {8-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop, but the {4-Hearts}, brought a crushing blow to him. The {5-Diamonds} on the river couldn't save him and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Meanwhile, at other tables, Kevin Malis was among others eliminated.
