MSPT Venetian Field
MSPT Venetian Field

The second flight of The Mid-States Poker Tour: $1,600 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event at The Venetian Resort In Las Vegas, Nevada. Day 1b of the $1,600 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event Begins at 11:10 am, and is another opportunity for players to get a piece of the $2,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Last night saw 34 players bag up for Day 2 out of 272 entries and it was Las Vegas Native, Mike Heck leading the way with 726,000. This field looks to be much larger than the former and could potentially have a new tournament chip leader.

The players will begin with 30,000 in starting chips with blinds beginning at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. The blind levels will last 40 minutes each, with 10-minute blinds occurring after every 3 levels. Late registration will close after level 9, where a 60-minute dinner break will follow. The players will play down to 12.5% of the field, or a full 15 levels, whatever comes first.
