Day 2 Of $1,600 MSPT Kicks Off at 11 a.m.

After three starting flights of The Mid-States Poker Tour $1,600 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event, that brought out a total of 1,644 entrants and created a whopping prizepool of $2,347,000. The remaining 233 players will play out for the 171 spots paid and the first place prize of $360,670.

Leading the way is Josh Reichard who ended up bagging 769,000 from the second of three flights. The Wisconsin native is tied for second most WSOP rings of all time at 12, and is looking to secure a position for himself in his quest for his second MSPT title.

Lisichkina Ascends To The Top

Yulia Lisichkina raised to 40,000 in the hijack and was called by the small blind and the big blind.

The flop of checked around to the turn where action checked to the big blind who bet 75,000. Lisichkina responded with a raise to 255,000 which folded out the small blind and got a call from the big blind.

The river rolled off the and the big blind checked to Lisichkina who moved all-in for 500,000 which after roughly three minutes the big blind called.

Lisichkina Takes Chip Lead
