Gutierrez Gets Three Streets of Value

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Zach Gutierrez
Zach Gutierrez

Zach Gutierrez opened in early position and received calls from the hijack and big blind, taking action three ways to a flop of {k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Spades}. The big blind checked to Gutierrez, who continuation-bet 1,800 and was called by only the hijack.

Action was then heads up to the turn {4-Hearts}, where Gutierrez bet another 3,000 and was quickly called. The river fell {5-Diamonds} and Gutierrez reached for chips a third time, betting 3,100. His opponent thought for a bit and then decided to make the call.

Gutierrez tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} for top pair with a queen kicker and earned a muck from his opponent to take down the pot and add a chunk to his stack.

Kinzer Collects a Knockout

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Michael Kinzer
Michael Kinzer

Three players had cards in front of them on a completed board of {j-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} with Steve Wilkie first to act in the small blind. Wilkie bet 3,300 and saw Maz Keshavarzi jam for 25,100 under the gun. Michael Kinzer was on the hijack and announced that he had to call, dropping a chip into the middle before Wilkie let his hand go.

Maz Keshavarzi: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Michael Kinzer: {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

"Flush," announced Kinzer as the dealer collected his cards to place them on the center of the table next to the board. The dealer acknowledged and then shipped him the pot.

Vanier Gets a Fortunate River

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Mike Vanier
Mike Vanier

Mike Vanier opened in the hijack and was three-bet to 3,500 by the cutoff. He four-bet to 11,200 and his opponent announced a call, bringing a flop of {j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Vanier continuation-bet 10,000 and his opponent quickly called.

The turn came {7-Spades} and Vanier slid the remainder of his chips forward along the felt. His opponent asked for a count, which was totaled to be 16,200.

"Nice hand," said the player, making the call and tabling {k-Spades}{j-Spades}. Vanier showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and was in need of hitting a three outer to stay alive. Luckily for him, the river {a-Hearts} did just that for him, and he scored the double as a result.

Vincent vs. Vincent

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Vincent Moscati
Vincent Moscati

Vincent Griboski opened to 1,200 in early position and was three-bet to 4,000 by Vincent Moscati in middle position. Action folded back to Griboski and he called.

Both players checked the flop {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, bringing the turn {3-Hearts}. Griboski checked again and Moscati fired out 3,000, which Griboski called. The river fell {k-Hearts} and Griboski check-called another 11,500 from Moscati.

Moscati tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for the nut flush and took down the pot as a result.

On the following hand, Jerry Morrell then opened to 1,200 under the gun and Moscati three-bet him to 4,000 in early position. Everybody folded and Moscati tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} before winning his second three-bet pot in as many hands.
