Smith Showers Two

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Neil Smith
Neil Smith

Neil Smith was in the hijack and called a raise to 2,000 from under the gun. Tan Hoang then three-bet jammed for around 20,000 on the button and the original raiser called, prompting Smith to pile in a covering stack and receive a call to bring about a three-way all-in preflop scenario.

Tan Hoang: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Under The Gun: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Neil Smith: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Hoang remarked about seeing Smith turn over the same hand as his, but quickly found a sweat on the flop {4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} as Smith picked up the nut flush draw. The turn {6-Clubs} completed that draw, giving Smith the nut flush and bringing about a fist pump from him as the river {3-Hearts} completed the runout and scored him the double knockout.

Aces Good for England at Showdown

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Kyna England
Kyna England

Jim Morrison limped in early position and saw Stacey Jones raise to 2,000 in the hijack. Steve WIlkie called in the cutoff and then Kyna England three-bet to 4,500 in the big blind. Morrison, Jones, and Wilkie all called, and the four went to a flop of {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} where England announced a continuation-bet of 12,500. Only Jones called.

Action was then heads up to the turn {3-Hearts}. England announced a check and Jones bet 16,000. England called, and then both players checked through the river {6-Hearts} to take the hand to showdown.

Jones showed {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} upon checking back, but his nines up were bested by England's {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} that was put onto the felt for all to see.

"Whew!" remarked England, pantomiming to wipe sweat from her forehead as she did so. The pot was then sent her way and she stacked her newly-earned chips, bringing her up to over 140K in the process.

Sepiol Runs Into Top Set

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Josiah Godbey opened the action with a raise to 2,000 in the cutoff and saw all three remaining players in the hand call, one of which was Daniel Sepiol in the big blind. The flop dropped {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades} and action checked to Godbey, who continuation-bet 2,500. Both the player on the button and small blind called, putting action back on Sepiol, and he check-jammed for 24,200. Godbey re-jammed for about 29,000 and both other players folded.

Daniel Sepiol: {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Josiah Godbey: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Sepiol had check-jammed his top pair with a king kicker only to run it into top set, which became a full house on the turn {7-Spades} to leave him drawing dead to the river {j-Clubs}.

Morrison Doubles on the Freeroll

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Jim Morrison
Jim Morrison

Five players went to a flop of {5-Spades}{k-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and three checks sent action onto Kyna England in middle position. She bet 7,500 and Jim Morrison called in the cutoff, prompting three folds behind.

"Heads up," announced the dealer as she spread {5-Clubs}. England checked and Morrison bet 14,000, with England check-jamming for a covering stack that Morrison wound up calling off.

Jim Morrison: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}
Kyna England: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

"Good luck," said England. "Well, good luck me," she added with a chuckle. She needed it, looking at a current chop with nine spade outs to give Morrison the nut flush. One of those spades then fell on the river {10-Spades} and Morrison shipped the double as a result. His stack was counted to be 36,800, which England paid off to bring him up to

Big Slick Does the Trick for Kinzer

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Michael Kinzer
Michael Kinzer

Tim West open-limped under the gun and saw the cutoff limp behind before Michael Kinzer pumped it up to 11,000 on the button. The big blind re-jammed and action folded back to Kinzer, who asked for a count that was totaled to be 46,400. He then called.

All-In Player: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Michael Kinzer: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Kinzer's ace-king remained on top as the runout came {3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} to score him the pot and the knockout.

"I win a lot of pots with ace high," said Kinzer with a smile afterwards to another player at the table, stacking his chips along the way.
