Gutierrez Jams on Smith

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Zach Gutierrez opened in the cutoff to 3,500 and was called by Neil Smith in the small blind and a player in the big blind. Action checked through the flop {k-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}, bringing the turn {5-Hearts}. Smith bet 6,000 in the small blind and the big blind folded, putting action onto Zach Gutierrez in the cutoff, who called.

The river came {8-Clubs} and Smith bet another 10,000. Gutierrez then jammed, sliding his stack of 38,000 into the middle. Faced with a decision for the majority of his chips, Smith quickly shot his cards forward to the muck to earn Gutierrez the pot.

Stewart Knocked Out By Kinzer

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Scott Stewart
Scott Stewart

Scott Stewart opened to 3,500 in the hijack and saw the small blind re-jam for 21,000. Michael Kinzer was in the big blind and also went all in for 61,500, with Stewart calling all in for 10K less.

Small Blind: {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Scott Stewart: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Michael Kinzer: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Stewart remained ahead on the flop {7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, but the turn {a-Clubs} gave Kinzer the best hand and brought about a fist pump from him in celebration. The river {k-Clubs} changed nothing related to the outcome of the hand, with Kinzer ultimately improving to top two pair to send both players to the rail.

Rieder Commits the Pile; Counts from the Other Half

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Andre Rieder
Andre Rieder

A single-raised pot resulted in three players going to a flop of {j-Spades}{2-Spades}{q-Spades}, with Peter Johnson first to act under the gun. Johnson bet 12,000 and received a call from Andre Rieder on his direct left. Jim Morrison then folded on the button, taking action heads up to the turn {a-Clubs}.

Johnson fired out another 15,000 and Rieder went into the tank for over a minute before dropping one chip into the pot as he announced he was all in. Johnson then took his time to think, and after around a minute, asked for a count. Rieder's stack was broken down and totaled to be 54,000, and Johnson thought about his decision for a bit more before sending his cards to the muck.

End of the Night for Jim Morrison

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jim Morrison
Jim Morrison

Jim Morrison was just seen vacating his seat and making his way from the tournament area as Zach Gutierrez was finishing stacking his chips, having just done the deed.

According to Gutierrez and tablemate Kyna England, a three-way all-in ensued between Morrison in the small blind, Gutierrez under the gun, and a third player in the hijack.

Hijack: {a-}{k-}
Jim Morrison: {q-}{10-}
Zach Gutierrez: {j-}{j-}

Gutierrez's jacks were best when all was said and done, eliminating Morrison and another player en route to a double knockout, and he now has a hair over 200K.
