Players in this flight will be targeting Aaron Raap’s 570,000 chip stack which led Day 1a. Joshua Reichard, Josh Evans, and Justin Barnum are among those who also bagged healthy stacks to bring into Sunday.

After telling PokerNews that he'd lost a big hand in a flush-over-flush situation, Gerald Cunniff moved all in from the big blind for a little under 4,000. He was then called by John Tieszen and one other player.
The flop came out and Tieszen bet 400 into the roughly 10,000 pot and his opponent got out of the way. The cards were then tabled, with Cunniff at risk.

The cutoff didn't look too happy with that decision as he was forced to reveal his hand of for seven-high. Curl then triumphantly tabled his for a pair of queens to win the pot for a big double-up.
