Graham Rouse Eliminated in 17th Place ($8,346)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

After an early limp, Graham Rouse shoved for about 440,000 and Nick Pupillo shoved on his left for around 900,000. Everyone else folded.

Pupillo had {q-}{q-}, dominating Rouse's {4-}{4-}, and the {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} board danced around Rouse's fours to bust him.

Sudar's Cold Shove Gets Through

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Byron Ziebell opened under the gun for 120,000, Kyna England made it 325,000 in the next seat, and Jovan Sudar shoved all in from the hijack. It was about 900,000 and it chased away the remaining players, as well as Ziebell and England.

Jared Ditmarson Eliminated in 18th Place ($8,346)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Jared Ditmarson got his last crumbs in with {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and was in decent shape against the {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} of Scott Sisler. However, the {2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{5-Spades} board brought no help for him.

Mader Coolered and Left Short

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Byron Ziebell bet 190,000 into about 600,000 on an {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop and Phil Mader jammed in the hijack with a covering stack. Ziebell called immediately with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and a disbelieving Mader turned over {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}.

The board ran {9-Clubs} and {3-Hearts} and Mader sent over 583,000.

Jacks Comes Through for Mader

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Phil Mader
Phil Mader

Phil Mader lost a big chunk of his stack earlier in a flip with ace-king against jacks, but this time, the jacks were lucky for him.

He shoved for 439,000 on the button over a cutoff jam by Carter Myers for slightly less, and big blind Renato Spahiu woke up with a quick call, showing {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. Mader had {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Myers had {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

The {9-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} board sent Spahiu from winner to last place, and the {6-Diamonds} and {5-Hearts} were blanks on the turn and river.

Ugly Stretch for Justins

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Players were standing up at Table 6, after an all-in pot had been dealt. The board read {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}{a-Spades} and Justin Brown had to pay out a double worth 729,000 to Lester Crew, who had {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flush. Brown had {a-}{j-} in front of him but it's not known when the money went in.

At another table, Justin Landi went bust.

Nordstrand Needs Heat

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Cory Nordstrand is down to a handful of blinds after a big bluff didn't get through.

A completed board read {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades} and he bet 400,000 into about 600,000 from early position. Tony Mousavi tank-called in the small blind.

Nordstrand spun in the {a-Clubs} then the {k-Spades} behind it. Mousavi showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}.
