Fritzer Can't Hold With Jacks on Bubble

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Rip Fritzer was all in preflop for his last 65,000 and chip leader Elvis Toomas called.

Rip Fritzer: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Elvis Toomas: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Fritzer was in a good spot to double but the {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop came down with an ace in the window to put Toomas way in front. Fritzer would need to find the last jack in the deck but the {k-Clubs}{7-Spades} runout was not what he needed.

All remaining players are now in the money.

Lopez and Kapoor Clash Twice

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Before the bubble burst, big stacks Jason Kapoor and Adrian Lopez played two big pots against each other.

First, Kapoor raised Lopez on the {2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop and he came along to the {x-Diamonds} diamond turn. Both players checked and the river brought the {8-Diamonds}. Lopez check-called 150,000 from Kapoor but saw the bad news and Kapoor held {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} a flush. Lopez slammed his fist on the table as a big pot went the other way.

A few minutes later they got into a raising war on the {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop. Kapoor bet 21,000 and Lopez raised to 75,000. Kapoor shoved with the bigger stack and Lopez called.

Adrian Lopez: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Jason Kapoor: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Kapoor was in front with aces and the turn was a blank, but the river brought the {k-Clubs} and Lopez spiked trips to double.

Penn Goes Runner-Runner Boat To Survive

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Danny Penn
Danny Penn

There was a loud reaction across the room and it was too the benefit of Danny Penn.

Penn found himself all in preflop holding pocket jacks against king-four of hearts.

The flop {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} was a devastating one, as his opponent made a flush.

A {j-Hearts} on the turn provided some hope for Penn with full house outs and he got just that on the {6-} river as he made jacks full to survive.
