Kendall Sniffs Out the Bluff from Sailor

Level 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Mike Kendall
Mike Kendall

There was already 18,000 in on the {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs} river and Mike Kendall was facing a decision for his tournament life.

Brad Sailor had shoved for 50,000 effective and Kendall only had 17,000 left in front of him.

After a few moments of contemplating, Kendall called.

Sailor rolled over {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a missed straight draw and Kendall showed {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} pocket jacks for the winner.

Noriegasolis Shows the Bluff in Big Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Brayan Noriegasolis
Brayan Noriegasolis

A big pot was brewing between Daotong Ge and Brayan Noriegasolis.

There was already about 30,000 in the middle on the {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs} turn and Daotong had a bet of 13,000 in front of him. He was facing an all-in raise though from Brayan Noriegasolis, who had him covered.

After a minute of thought, Ge laid it down and Noriegasolis showed the table {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} for king-high.

"Whew," said Noriegasolis. "I almost blew it."

Noriegasolis becomes the early chip leader with more than a hundred thousand already.

ClubGG Qualifier Lammert Drills a Set to Survive

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Kevin Lammert
Kevin Lammert

Kevin Lammert limped under the gun, as did one other player before Matthew Lung raised it up to 1,300.

Christina Gollins flatted the raise and with the action back on Lammert, he moved in for 13,600 total.

Lung folded and Gollins called.

Kevin Lammert: {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Christina Gollins: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

Gollins was in front with the better pair, but the {10-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop gave Lammert a set of threes. The {4-Spades} turn and {a-Clubs} river changed nothing and Lammert doubled up. Lung meanwhile, lamented that he had folded pocket fours.

Moon Put into the Blender, Loses to Straight Flush of Graff

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Duane Graff
Duane Graff

With the board showing {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Spades} and 1,000 in the pot, Ben Moon already had a bet of 4,500 in front of him but was facing an all-in from Duane Graff.

Moon was deep in the tank.

"Brutal sir," he said. "I guess I'll just gamble with you."

Moon continued to think things over for a few moments.

"I have such a big hand," said Moon. "Did you play yesterday?"

"I did," said Graff.

Eventually, Moon cut out a stack of chips to call.

"Did you flop the nuts," asked Moon?

Duane Graff: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Ben Moon: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Graff had flopped the nut straight while Moon held two pair, with outs to a full house. The {7-Spades} hit the turn and the {6-Spades} drilled the river to give Graff the rarely seen straight flush. Moon was left short while Graff becomes an early chip leader.
