Kingery Scores Double Knockout

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

David Stoneburner was all in for around 150,000 and Brendan Shiller was committed for his small stack. Jared Kingery had both covered.

Brendan Shiller: {6-Spades}{3-Spades}
David Stoneburner: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Jared Kingery: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

The board ran out {4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and Kingery's pocket aces held to make a flush and eliminate two players from the tournament.

Ghanem Gets Paid

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Gerald Cunniff raised to 17,000 and Saad Ghanem called from the small blind before Craig Mason called from the big blind.

The flop was {10-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and all three players checked to see {5-Spades} on the turn. They checked again and the river was {9-Diamonds}.

Ghanem fired 26,000 on the river and Mason got out of the way.

"That was the worst river card," Cunniff said before he reluctantly called.

Ghanem turned over {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} to take the pot with a straight and Cunniff threw the losing cards in the muck.

"Set of nines," Cunniff said.

Kingery Takes From Cunniff

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was heads up with a full board of {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} when Jared Kingery bet 35,000 and Gerald Cunniff called.

Cunniff flashed a {5-} for the straight, but Kingery turned over {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for the better one and he took the pot to continue building his big stack.
